Celebrate with us on St. Patrick's Day when we bring you a full day of Celtic Classical Favorites! Tap your toes to Ignaz Moscheles' Recollections of Ireland, shed a tear during the Londonderry Air and don't miss Max Bruch's sprightly arrangement of the Scottish Folk song Hey Tuttie Tatie in the Scottish Fantasy. Between classics, Music Director Mark Simmons will use his gift of the blarney to educate us about poisonous snakes in Ireland!

Tune in at 9 am on Wednesday, March 17th.

Sponsor your own day at Radio Kansas and honor a friend, family member or personal event. For a Day Sponsor Membership you will receive seven on-air announcements throughout the day of your choice. Typical sponsorships include birthdays, anniversaries or special personal events.

Availability is limited. Radio Kansas accepts only two sponsors per day.

Our Celtic Trivia Question:

Londonderry Air
or the Air from County Derry is an old Irish tune that has been popular for generations. Various lyrics have been penned to it and it has been known as the Irish Love Song, The Confession of Devorgilla ('Oh! shrive me, father’), Would I Were Erin's Apple Blossom o'er You, and the hymn I Cannot Tell.

What is the title of the most popular song version? Check your answer on the contest page and enter our drawing for a stack of CDs!
